David Beckham’s Dad in Stable Condition Following Heart Attack
David Beckham’s father, Ted Beckham, suffered a heart attack Wednesday evening in London and has undergone surgery to unblock an artery. He is reportedly in stable condition.
David headed to the airport as soon as he heard the news.
“His father has had a heart attack and is currently being treated in [the] hospital,” the athlete’s rep confirms. “David is flying back to be with him. He is obviously incredibly concerned and wants to be with him.”
We wish Mr. Beckham a speedy recovery.

Dearest David; I just heard about your dad although the news had just arrived. Losing my dad in late October 08′ has not become any easier for me. My father Simon Mayer Levi was 90. My mom & dad were married over 66 years. I realize my dad had a full & long life but it does not get any easier.
