If you’ve been wondering what Christina Applegate is up to - we’ve got the scoop. Her latest project is a new sitcom, “Samantha Who?” that premiered last night on ABC.
Christina Applegate stars in this new comedy about Samantha Newly, who awakens after an eight-day coma with no memory of her life or the people in it but who quickly figures out that she was a horrible person.
Jean Smart and Kevin Dunn play the parents she hasn’t spoken to in two years. Melissa McCarthy is her faux best friend; Jennifer Esposito is her real one. Barry Watson is the trustworthy boyfriend on whom she’s cheating with a married man. Now she has the chance to get her life right.
We’ve watched Applegate evolve into a gorgeous and talented actress. You can catch the show next Monday night at 9:30pm ET.

I watched the first episode of Samantha Who? and think it has potential. I really like the concept/story but have to admit it seemed like many of the actors were still having problems being their character. That happens with a lot of new shows of course so if it does well and is around a couple seasons I don’t think that would be an issue for long. But overall pretty good!
