Owen Wilson, who was rushed to the hospital on August 26 for a suicide attempt, has given his first interview since the incident.

The interview, filmed on Thursday with friend and director Wes Anderson, will appear online tonight at midnight pst as part of the Myspace Artist on Artist series.

Wilson and Anderson have worked together on several films.

When asked at the Venice Film festival how Owen was doing, Anderson replied “When he’s ready he’s going to speak for himself much better than any of us could.”
