Denise Richards’ Mother Died

Denise Richards’ mother passed away this week of cancer. The family stayed at her mother Joni’s side the last two weeks of her life at a hospital in Long Beach, California.

Denise Richards mother’s illness and the messy divorce that she and actor Charlie Sheen are going through, has made Denise realise one thing – Life is to short and she just wants too be happy.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I am sure that her daughters Lola and Sam can bring a smile to her face at this sad time.

“Sports Illustrated” just announced that daredevil Evel Knievel is dead at 69. The ailing trick rider had been in failing health for several years. His death was confirmed by his granddaughter Krysten Knievel.

Knievel suffered from diabetes and a lung condition called pulmonary fibrosis. He made news just 2 days ago when he settled a lawsuit with Kanye West.

Clinton Hostage Situation Resolved – Lee Eisenberg Surrenders to Police

CNN is reporting that a hostage situation has occurred at Hillary Clinton’s Rochester, NH campaign headquarters. A woman and baby managed to get away and alerted a nearby store clerk to call police. The assailant has been identified as Lee Eisenberg.

She reported that at approximately 1:00pm EST a man with a bomb strapped to his chest had entered Hillary’s campaign office and spread his coat open to reveal the device. She described the man as in his 40′s with salt and pepper colored hair.

Police have surrounded the building and are said to be crouching behind police cruisers with guns drawn. It is unclear how many people are inside the Clinton headquarters building – but there is speculation that at least one person is being held. Offices near the office building have been evacuated.

Hillary was planning to speak at a Democratic National Committee event this afternoon but has canceled that engagement in light of the hostage situation. Those waiting to hear her speak were informed by a committee member of the hostage situation.

Britney Spears has been hard at it making a new video for her song “Piece of Me”. The pop artist wants to see what you’ve got!

Britney Spears and MTV have teamed up for a new contest called “Britney Spears wants a piece of you.” MTV has gotten together all sorts of footage from Brit’s past – anywhere from interviews, photos, red carpet appearances, videos, you name it.

All you have to do is make a video remix of your favorite clips that lasts no longer than 3:34 minutes. All entries must be in by December 14th and the winner will be announced on December 20th on TRL. Good Luck!!

Chickenpox Hit Spice Girls Kids on eve of World Tour

“The Spice Girls” have personal issues to deal with on the eve of their world tour kickoff. It seems that Victoria Beckham’s boys have developed chickenpox and have spread the childhood malady to Geri Halliwell‘s daughter Bluebell.

The singers have been feverishly putting the finishing touches on their routines and costumes. All were in the habit of bringing the kids along to run around while they do their work. That is how it all got started. Cruz Beckham developed his spots first and before long 18 month old Bluebell was “pelted”, according to her mother’s account this morning on British TV.

Between the five women, they have seven children. It could be a long siege of illness for that kid pack. But that won’t stop the women. They will be in their places on stage when the tour launches this weekend.

The Spice Girls world tour begins on Sunday in Vancouver, British Columbia.
