Donny and Marie’s Father, George Osmond Dies at Age 90
George Osmond, patriarch of the famous Osmond family, including Donny and Marie Osmond, passed away this morning in Utah at age 90.
The entire Osmond family was set to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday. On “Dancing with the Stars” last night, Donny Osmond said his father was very frail and they would wheel him out in a wheelchair.
The news was first reported on Entertainment Tonight’s website. Donny was on the ET set when he learned the news.
