Actress or not, I'd move to NYC to be with him. He's a man, not a wimp. A gorgeous one at that and masculine!

It's nice to demand everything but let's be realistic. Think about the movie roles she has been in....now think about her age....yes, well....

Now think about him....WOW.....get the picture?

She's a fool.

LOL in San Francisco

(continued)...

Which is why as a guy, I can be just as attracted to Halle Barry as I am to the college girl next door. Because money and fame aren't what men are primarily attracted to.

Alexis, relationships are what you negotiate it to be. One can't take one specific situation (in this case Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry) and generalize it into the whole of male-female relationships.

I've seen it happen both ways, sometimes it makes more sense for the man to pick up and move to further the career his woman and other times its the opposite, that's up to the couple to decide between themselves, and if they can't reach a solution that's satisfactory for both of them, then there's no deal and they walk away without blame.

But since we are going to generalize, from my perspective as a guy, I can tell you that for guys, it's not so much important how famous she is or how much money she makes, those things don't make us feel attracted. They're the icing on the cake, but not the cake. The "cake" is that we as guys generally prefer women who are feminine, who let us lead the relationship, showing compliance to our dominance (and keep in mind there is a very big difference between being dominant and domineering, the former is good, the latter not so good), who are appreciative, sweet and reflexively kind. What you may find attractive about men (ie. fame, money) is not what men find attractive about women.

It's ironic, no matter how successful the woman and how luxurious sharing her lifestyle (and accommodating the demands of her career) would be, he still expects the wife to move and follow 'him' for his (modeling?) career in New York.

Can you even imagine how ridiculous this would be in reverse? 'A model marries a male movie star. She expects him to pull up stakes, sell his big home and move with her to crowded NYC for her modeling career'.

It would never happen. It would be ludicrous to imagine. No. She would be expected to bone up on her social graces, and become a fixture on the social/philanthropy circuit, the better to be a partner/asset for him.

A male model does not trump an Oscar winning movie star in career importance. Sad. Obviously, he does in narcissism.

A good role model for him would have been the very handsome husband of Merle Oberon and later Audrey Hepburn, Robert Wolders. This was a gentleman, loved and respected by all.
