Dancing with the Stars Battle Brewing – Maksim Takes Cheap Shot at Marie
Maksim Chmerkovskiy, professional dance partner to Mel B., has started sniping at his competition. He took a couple of cheap shots at Marie Osmond in an interview with “Extra”.
Maksim indicated that Marie is not on par with Helio and Mel. He went a step further and said the only only reason she is still on the show is that the fans have been giving her a sympathy vote. And the final blow – he indicated that she could have kept her families personal information to herself.
He cited others on the show that did not share equally sad or distressing news with the media. He is presumably referring to her father’s death and her son’s stint in rehab. Marie could hardly have hidden her father’s death and as far as her son’s situation is concerned, she was ambushed on Larry King Live. Clearly she had not intended for that information to be made public.
The teams of Maksim and Mel, Marie and Jonathan, and Helio and Julianne will have their final competition tonight on Dancing with the Stars 8/7c. A two hour finale will air Tuesday night on ABC 9/8c.
