Supermodel Selita Ebanks is best known for her work with “Victoria’s Secret”. Her natural beauty comes from a rich ancestry of Caymanian, Jamaican and Indian descent. Her rags to riches rise to elite status is very compelling.

She grew up in a poor family but her mother encouraged her to play sports. She remembers not having shoes in elementary school but did play basketball, football and tennis.

Ebanks was discovered at age 17, while entering the turnstiles at Six Flags Great Adventures. She was scouted by Elite Model Management. She has worked with some of the world’s top photographers and has been a part of some of the most elite fashion campaigns.

Ebanks made a special guest appearance on “How I Met Your Mother” last week, along with supermodels Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, Marisa Miller and Alessandra Ambrosio.
