Anna Rawson – Australian Model and Rookie LPGA Golfer (Photos)

Anna Rawson is multi-tasking big time these days. The Australian model has just earned her professional golf card that will allow her to join the ranks of the LPGA. Though she’ll be considered a rookie on the ladies tour, she has already made her mark on the European golf scene and currently enjoys celebrity status.

A Rawson biography indicates she played collegiate golf at the University of Southern California and received All-Pac-10 honorable mention in 2001, 2002 and 2004. She seems to have a lot in common with male counterpart Tiger Woods. She has also been an active model, doing catwalk, print ad and TV work.

The 26 year old athlete earned her players card on Sunday after finishing an LPGA qualifying tournament with three birdies. She began playing at age 13 and was a 2006 rookie on the Ladies European Tour, earning a second place finish in the Swiss Open. She was named Most Popular Golfer by the European’s and Golf Babe of the Year 2007 by a golf magazine in the Netherlands.
