Jonathan Rhys Meyers appears to have had his life totally implode in the past few weeks. He’s been arrested for a drunken tirade at an airport, suffered the death of his mother and now we hear that he has split from long time girl friend Reena Hammer.

This guy appears to be in a deep world of hurt. The justice system has apparently dropped their charges against the Irish actor for his run in with police officials and airport workers. He threw himself on the mercy of the court and apologized. The judge took into consideration the stress that Rhys Meyers had been under with the illness of his mother.

Now we learn that during this same time frame, the love relationship between the actor and Reena Hammer has ended. They began dating in 2004 when Reena was 18. The London university student is heiress to her mother’s cosmetics company Ruby and Millie. Her father owns Urban Retreat Spa at Harrods.

 

The couple, who have been living together in Camden, have gone their separate ways. She was, however, at his side during his mother’s funeral, which does seem to leave the door slightly ajar for a future reconciliation. According to Daily Mail, Rhys Meyers is reported looking for another home in east London.
