Whopper Freakout Commercial Video

What would you do if you entered your favorite local Burger King all set to order your favorite Whopper meal and the employee behind the counter said, “I’m sorry but we no longer serve the Whopper.” Their marketing group staged the publicity stunt in order to film the reaction of their customers.

One of their franchise facilities set up a camera and told people that Whopper sandwiches have been discontinued. Other poeple were given substitute food items when they ordered a Whopper meal. The reaction footage will presumably be used in future Burger King TV commercials.

  3. You know, some people might find this type of thing cute and calming. However, the rest of us are reminded of the bewildering over indulgence of our western culture. This sort of marketing affirms my suspicion that all of this unchecked capitalism will inevitably come crashing down on our heads. What future is in store for we who cherish such insignificant banality? How do we extricate our civilization from this tasteless mediocrity? Can we?
