Josh Duhamel, 35, has announced his engagement to Black Eyed Peas pop star Fergie, 32. The actor plays the role of Danny McCoy on NBC show Las Vegas.

Duhamel first achieved success in the role of Leo du Pres in All My Children. He won a Daytime Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2002.

Duhamel and Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, have been dating for three years and have recently bought a home together.

Fergie’s hit song Big Girls Don’t Cry from her solo album The Dutchess, has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Female Pop category.
