Candace Crawford, sister of actor Chace Crawford, is the reigning Miss Missouri 2008. She received her crown on November 12, 2007 at Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Turns out the 20 year old received an underage drinking ticket earlier in the year.

As a matter of public record from the Columbia Missourian, Candice Crawford, 20, was arrested on suspicion of minor in possession at 12:08 a.m. March 16 at Tonic in the 100 block of South Ninth Street. (Detail).

It isn’t clear if this information was disclosed to the Miss Missouri pageant officials prior to Crawford’s bid for the title, nor is it clear whether the disclosure would have disqualified her from competing.

One thing is for sure – beauty queens don’t seem to be nearly as squeaky clean as we once thought. The list of tarnished royalty is getting longer all the time.

Crawford, who hosts the Dallas Cowboys sports show Special Edition, is reported to be dating Tony Romo.
