People magazine named lawyer Gary Zerola to their 2001 list of America’s Most Eligible Bachelor’s. He also tried out for the TV reality show The Bachelor. He has a dark side and has been charged with raping three young women.

His first trial begins on Tuesday in Boston. She is charged with raping a 19 year old woman in 2004. Immediately following that trial, he will be tried for raping another 19 year old woman in 2006. He will then be turned over to Florida authorities where he will stand trial for drugging and raping an 18 years old women in October of 2007.

According to prosecutors, he meets young women in bars, puts on the charm and then assaults and rapes them when they refuse to have sex with him. Apparently he is not considered a flight risk because he has been free on $100,000 bail.

The 36 year old lawyer was an excellent student who delivered his law school commencement address. In 2000 he opened his own law practice as a criminal defense attorney. Zerola is said to have had a very difficult childhood, the majority of which was spent in foster care.

Zerola’s law license has been suspended and his web site indicates that he is not accepting new clients or practicing law.

  1. His behavior shows clear psychopathic character, anti-social personality disorder. He may also have Attachment Disorder, depending on how early he was left into foster care. He takes out his anger and violence against society on women.

He obviously knows how to ‘perform’ and ‘put on the charm’, but a leopard does not change his spot. Psychopaths can not be rehabilitated. If anything, studies have shown that psychotherapy only teaches them how to be better at manipulating and exploiting people. These are intra-species predators. They ‘know the words but not the song’. They can pretend to be anything you want to get you hooked and then WHAM!

Those poor women. Imagine being violated physically like that and then seeing your rapist on TV all charming as ‘America’s Most Eligible Bachelor’. It is just chilling.

  2. 11+ Victims of Gary Zerola:

4 victims of Gary Zerola testified under oath about what happened to them. I have heard of at least 3 other victims that came forward and told police similar stories. Below are comments I found about 5 more victims saying they were attacked by Zerola as well. So far that is 12 women who all claim they were victims of Gary Zerola. There are many many more blogs posted by other victims of Zerola. Think about it. He is clearly a serial rapist and needs to be put away.

“4 years ago Gary Z managed to gain the trust of my family through business ties he has with my father and then drugged and raped my sister as soon as he had a minute alone with her. Luckily he never got his hands on me. This loser behind being put away is the best news I’ve ever heard! I can only hope that his fellow inmates teach him what it feels like to be manhandled.”

“Gary Zerola raped two friends of mine about 9 years ago. The last thing they remember was Gary buying them drinks at West St. Bar. They woke up naked next to Gary in the morning. Gary made sure he put enough drugs in their drinks so they wouldn’t remember how they got there. They do know that they were raped. Neither of them had ever blacked out before in their lives. Read the blogs on Gary Zerola…. other’s have similar stories”
