Daily Mail is reporting that Casey Aldridge wants a paternity test to rule himself in or out as the father of Jamie Lynn Spears baby. The reporter indicates that the relationship of the young couple has been on shaky ground for the past several months.

Jamie Lynn is back at home in Louisiana with her mother. She is reportedly studying for her GED, an alternative to a mainstream high school education. We’ve seen pictures of her mother, Lynne Spears, walking along side her daughter, coming and going from the class. Jamie Lynn can be seen clutching an arm load of books.

Daily Mail reportedly got their scoop from a reliable friend of big sister Britney Spears. Now that may add credence to the story or put it on shaky ground. We’re not sure Brit has any reliable friends, come to think of it.

Casey Aldridge, recent high school graduate, is reportedly working as a laborer, opting not to further his education.
