Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby girl at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday evening. Their 6 pound, 7 ounce daughter has been named Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Joel Madden was on hand to welcome the new arrival.

At the hospital to welcome the new baby were Nicole’s parents, Lionel Richie and Brenda Richie, and her sister Sophia. Several of Joel’s brothers were also in attendance.
