I feel like I know them personally since I’ve listened to Rick’s stories of his precious baby boy from birth. This has totally stunned the Rick and Bubba army of listerners. Anyone who listens to the Rick and Bubba morning show knows what a dedicated family man he is and how this would be his ultimate worst nightmare….to lose one his precious 5 children. Now his youngest is gone and he has to learn how to get up every day and continue life without a child he brought into the world. I absolutely hate this for his family….the worse of the worse has happened to a great man and his family. May God bless them!
The Rick and Bubba tv show was the light of my life, I watched most everyday. To make you laugh the first thing in the morning was a wonderful gift. Listening to how much Rick loved his family warmed my heart. His love of The Lord sent me back to church after many years. My heartfelt love and prayers are with all of the Burgess family.
My heart goes out to the Burgess family I will keep you all in my prayers. I started listening to Rick & Bubba when my son Noah was about three and now he is nine.I can still hear his sweet little voice singing Rick&Bubba,Rick&Bubba as i headed to work and dropped him off at daycare. Your son has the face of an angel I am so sorry for your loss.I once read that you do not measure life by how many breaths you take but by how many moment’s that take your breath away.God bless you all.
I know the Lord works in mysterious ways; I too lost a son , in 1979, but I feel as if it were yesterday.Michael was a victim of muscular dystrophy, & even though his body was very weak ,he was very strong willed. The love of his life was -___radio & baseball & he knew our Lord & someday he dreamed of being able to “run the bases” in heaven. He didn’t quite understand why he couldn’t do that here on earth, but in his heart he knew someday God would have him on His team. The strength Michael had seemed to radiate to others. He touched many hearts in his short 17 years . The love of God has taken him from this earth & was & still is sadly missed by his family & friends. God has used Michael as an inspiration to many others. I pray for you & your family,Rick. Please remember that you & Sherri are truly blessed with 4 other children. Enjoy them & include them in your daily routine- please don’t be too busy for them. Our heavenly Father is never too busy to listen to us & shows us His love on a daily basis Our prayers are with you in this time of sorrow Your Bronner will always be in your heart, & actually its a pleasue to wonder what he & the Lord have planned today. After all these years I still think that too; so when I feel like I’m having a” pity party” I talk to Jesus & Michael & ask them to show me the wayWhat a comfort. Just to know what a “WOW” friend our sons have Talk about a blessing! God be with you & your family. Sincerely, Georgeann Wyrick, Foley, Al
