I would also explore information on Narcissists, malignant narcissism. Psychopaths are narcissists. I’d also reccomend reading on Borderline Personality Disorder and see how this fits him. Borderline men are very dangerous. They start out very intensely nice and very charming, very interested – and very controlling. Many women whose husband’s or boyfriends kill them were with Borderlines.

In this case, the man is too ugly to be the object of desire, so he plays the manager/godfather role. He would have ‘worked with Adnan’ if Adnan had played the sex/romance role to better help him hold his control position, but Adnan wants all the control too. It’s a mess. Britney loves drama, but this is very dangerous.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a battle of the psychopaths between Lufti and Adnan. Britney is controlled by Lufti and addicted to Adnan. Lufti is the worse of the two I believe. He is a very dangerous character and her parents should not stand for his hijaking. Britney does not need a loony bin, those men around her do. She certainly needs protection, but from her ‘protectors’.

It is sad that Adnan plays the ’shiek of the desert Valentino’ role very well, but proves he is a lowlife by selling off her privacy and relationship with him – even as he conducts it. Poor Britney. She seems to truly feel she is worth no better. That is very sad. Adnan is a smooth con artist and seducer. He unfortunatly is another narcissist, and as such is incapable of true love. He is just playing for his agenda and his own narcissistic supply.
