Britney Spears Two Rolling Stone Cover’s ‘Then & Now’ (Photos)
Britney Spears appears on the March cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The featured article is entitled Britney Spears Inside An American Tragedy which weaves the story of how the pop princess lost it all. We’re comparing that snapshot in time and her cover from April 1999.
A young Britney appeared at age 18, full of talent and seeking a dream career. The contrast between the teenager full of boundless hopes and dreams and the woman in crisis is startling. Her fall from stardom is truly a tragedy that appears to have no happy ending.
Those who love her best can only stand by and fear for her safety. Her parents have issued a statement, shedding some light on their grief and helplessness. The medical community has refused to hold her against her will and because she is an adult, it is apparent that the downward spiral will continue to play itself out. This is truly a tragedy.
A complete video guide on Rolling Stone’s website contains 24 clips from better days. The magazine also has a very comprehensive photo gallery of Spears.

The entire situation is beyond frustrating
the one you have for now is new rs but old photo from like 2004 or something
Full of talent? What planet are you from? This woman couldn’t sing her way out of a wet paper bag without a rack full of computer gear, and last I knew, dressing up like a trollop and gyrating all over a stage was only considered a talent in a Gentleman’s Club. That she can do it while lip-syncing may be a small skill. Her “oral” skills may have gotten her contract sealed, but if it wasn’t for the media companies shoving this prepackaged St. Whorebag down our throats and targeting young children to do it originally, we wouldn’t care one bit about another person self-destructing…
Why, I guess Britney used her ‘oral’ skills to be on the Mickey Mouse Club too.
What a ridiculous condescending comment.
