Rihanna’s Grammy Dress Rivals Bjork’s Swan Getup (Photos)
Rihanna was not only acting a little bizarre last night, but her performance costume was just plain bizarre. The first impression was that it looked like the top of a grass hut – that she had somehow fastened to her body with a funky belt.
Some have described it as a dirty feathers getup – which is fairly descriptive on second glance. She looks demon-like in this photo – like her eyes could begin to glow red at any moment.
We all recall the Swan getup that was worn to the 2001 Oscars by Bjork. Rihanna’s little number seems to be the 2008 version.
Rihanna and Jay-Z won Rap Collaboration for Umbrella. They made quite a spectacle up on stage during their acceptance speeches – or should I say Rihanna’s speech. She seemed inclined to do all of the talking – even though Jay-Z tried to get a word in a few times. She actually stiff armed him once when it looked like he was going to try to speak. That girl is just plain bizarre.
