At age 17 Jenna Jameson became an expert – at stripping that is. The star went into Las Vegas Crazy Horse Too strip club looking for a job. Jenna was at first turned down. Not only did she have a fake ID, she still had braces on her teeth. To prove how bad she wanted the job, she pulled then off right then and there with a pliers. Within a few months she was raking in a few thousand a night.

This was just the beginning of what would end up to be a very profitable career for Jamison. Jenna’s father was a Las Vegas cop and her mother, who died of cancer when Jenna was 3, was a Vegas Showgirl. Having lost her mother at such a young age, surely she must have tried to imagine wht mother may have been like. Finding out that her mother was a Vegas Showgirl probably seemed very glamorous.

Jameson was living the life for a 17 year old and quickly became addicted to drugs and has said that the start of her career was a real blur to her. At 18 Jenna headed to California to see her father, who helped his daughter get clean and sober.

Age 20 was really the turning point for Jenna when she started doing nude layouts in magazines like Hustler, Penthouse and Cheri. Not long after that, with the blessing from her father, she turned to the porn industry. I could go on to list the films she has been in but the list is way to long. I would imagine if you were to go into a porn shop today you’d find that she probably has her own section.

Jenna’s personal life has not always been the greatest. In 1996 she married fellow porn star Brad Armstrong. That union lasted a whole 10 weeks. Shortly after the split she got her first taste of mainstream film and she got a big break from radio personality Howard Stern. Jameson had a small role in his movie Private Parts. This opened the door for Jenna to the legitimate side of show business.

Seven years after her marriage ended she filed for divorce (wonder what took so long) and was then able to marry Jay Grdina in 2003. The two were excited to start a family and Jenna became pregnant and sadly had a miscarriage. Around the same time, she was also diagnosed with skin cancer and equates those factors to the demise of her marriage to Jay and divorce in 2006.

Jenna has been linked to many famous men throughout the years including Marilyn Manson, Dave Navarro and Nikki Six to name a few. Her current love is Ultimate Fighting’s Tito Ortiz.

Along with shedding the porn industry, Jenna had shed her breast implants and has lost a good amount of weight. Her weight loss has sparked many articles to be written and her health.
