Amy Winehouse Has a Highly Contagious Infection
Many have been wondering about all the bumps on Amy Winehouse’s face in recent photos. Impetigo! Amy was diagnosed with the highly infectious rash, but don’t worry because she is taking the proper medication.
The Mayo Clinic website says that Impetigo is a bacterial skin infection that causes pimple-like lumps – and is “highly contagious” and that scratching the sores is likely to spread the infection to other parts of the body as well as to other people.
A friend of Amy’s says she is doing A-Ok and that “she’s not hiding away. She’s never been one to care what people think.” Well if her friend’s statement creeps you out, you’re not alone. Stay home Amy until your “little rash” goes away.
