New York fashion designer Jill Stuart is taking her line in a new, more sophisticated direction. Lindsay Lohan was hired to be the face of Jill’s line last fall, before Lohan entered into the destruction zone.

A source close to the designer has said that Jill was looking to add a celebrity face to give her fashions that high profile feel. With all the troubles that Lindsay has been through, she no longer fits the mold for Stuart.

Although. as of yet. nothing is written in stone, it is said that Hilary Swank may be taking over. Swank is older and is well respected in the industry. Not to mention beautiful.
