Renee Zellweger & George Clooney Lovers or Pals (Photos, Video)

Renee Zellweger graces the cover of In Style magazine, April issue, just in time for the release of her latest film. That being said, we couldn’t resist using the December cover of W magazine to lead off this post. The photo oozes tender overtones that apparently exist between the two mega stars.

The 39 year old actress is currently traveling with George Clooney on a publicity tour for Leatherheads. The 1920’s football comedy is set in Minnesota, filmed in North and South Carolina and poised to hit theaters on April 4, 2008.

Zellwager was briefly married to country western singer Kenny Chesney. The marriage was annulled when the actress filed court papers claiming fraud. She has reportedly had a romantic relationship with Clooney, who recently alluded that they had shared a very short period of dating. When pressed for details on another occasion, he was kinder and more expansive in his comments. He said that he and Zellweger were close pals who had a brief brush with romance. His comments seemed to point to a casual sexual relationship rather than a romance. He is currently linked to Sarah Larson.
