Remember when pop star Britney Spears was on her 5150 hold and her medical records were shared with the media for a little payola? Same theme here – different celebrity. This time the private medical records were those of actress Farrah Fawcett.

An employee at UCLA Medical Center no longer has a job because he or she pilfered through Farrah’s medical records and shared the findings with the Enquirer, according to TMZ. This undoubtedly happens on a daily basis.

The information shared was that Farrah’s cancer had returned. The news broke before the actress had time to tell Ryan O’Neal, her son Redmond O’Neal or her closest friends about her medical setback.

Fawcett’s lawyer is not saying if they will sue but called the situation “ugly.”
