This sucks! Pete Doherty is reportedly getting preferential treatment in the slammer because of his star power. They should be treating him like the loser he is during his mandated 14 week incarceration at Wormwood Scrubs prison in London.

Word is that the junkie has his own cell, TV, radio and bunk bed. The rocker is staying in the segregation unit because they are afraid he is vulnerable. They are calling it the “5 star” treatment of prison. What about showing him what prison life is all about and maybe he might not want to return.

Doherty earned his stint in the lockup for breach of time keeping, non-compliance of a judges order and using illicit drugs. Why not 6 months in rehab?
