Brett Favre talks retirement with David Letterman. Some people are speculating that a few comments made during the interview allude to a comeback for the retired Green Bay quarterback.
Favre admits to not having signed any formal retirement paperwork, and says “something’s bound to happen” when training camp begins.

NO WAY! He’s not coming back. He was playing into the leading questions that Letterman was asking. Will he have 2nd thoughts, will he miss training camp and the games, OF COURSE, who wouldn’t. The public is reading too much into this interview.
He’s coming back!!!!!!!! He said earlier in the year that if Aaron Rogers, the heir apparent, got hurt and the Packers needed him, he would be glad to help out anyway he could. Add to that the fact that Rogers has been hurt in nearly every game he has appeared.

I remember watching this interview and thinking that Brett didn’t seem like himself. I thought there was more to the story than was being told. Now It’s July 14 and the sh*! has hit the fan so to speak.
