John Mayer Rolling Stone ‘Living Guitar Legends’ Photos

John Mayer is on the inside flap of the cover of the June 12, 2008 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. This edition features 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time as well as the Secrets of the Guitar Heroes.

Rolling Stone gathered together eight real life guitar heroes for a special double-sized cover. Besides John Mayer, they include Kirk Hammett, Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page, B.B. King and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez.

Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight Mending Relationship

Angelina Jolie has made no bones about expressing that she and her father, Jon Voight did not have a close relationship and for that matter a relationship at all. Recently the two have been trying to repair their issues. Voight made headlines in 2002 when he told a television interviewer that Angelina had “severe emotional problems”.

Nearing the birth of her twins with partner Brad Pitt, Angelina told Sydney Morning Herald newspaper:

We are going to try to get to know each other and maybe try not to be this daddy and daughter, but to be there for each other as friends in the coming years.”

When Voight was asked in a separate interview about their personal relationship and if they planned on meeting up over the summer he said, “I’m sure we will, yeah.”

38-year-old Naomi Campbell is going bald, according to a close pal (and these photos).

Campbell, who is in trouble again due to her obvious anger management issues, was seen leaving Heathrow police station, and was photographed with what appears to be a balding patch.

The friend says the supermodel chose to ignore warnings that this could happen if she didn’t give the hair extensions a rest.

Campbell is facing charges for assaulting two police officers, threatening an air crew and disorderly conduct.

Sex and the City Girls Night Out – Send Us Your Photos

The “Sex and the City” movie is officially a box office hit, taking in $20-$24 million on Friday night. It is expected the film could gross upwards of $50 million plus for the weekend.

Groups of women make up the majority of moviegoers headed out to see SATC, and my girlfriends and I were no exception, dressing to the nines and heading out for Cosmopolitans before the movie. Not being a fan of Cosmos, I opted for the Strawberry Basil Lemonade instead, and started a trend, noticing that half our table ended up drinking the tasty libation after a sip of mine.

I brought out my inner Charlotte (Samantha would have been too obvious a choice for me) and dressed in a little white number with an empire waist and big bow in front, pearl earrings and patent leather white pumps. I discovered that my camera batteries were dead, so I’ll have to rely on someone to email me photos before I can share them on here. For now, the photo above is a group gathered for cocktails before the midnight screening at the ArcLight Theater in Los Angeles.

Dina Lohan is Looking for a Little R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Well, things can change pretty fast in Dina Lohan‘s world. Just last week the mother of Lindsay Lohan was asked if her daughter and Samantha Ronson were a couple. Her response was a big fat denial. OK! magazine chatted with Dina at the Project Cuddle event in NYC yesterday and asked her again about the relationship between the girls and this time she said:

If she’s happy, I’m happy. That’s all I’ll say. Samantha’s great. I’ve known her and her family for ten years.”

As for her estranged husband Michael Lohan and the blog he writes for OK! magazine.com, Dina added:

My husband writes a blog for you about my show! I know he’s my kids’ dad. They can talk to him whenever they want, I don’t stop them. I just want him to be respectful. It’s all about respect. You give respect, you get respect.”

Lindsay spent some time at an L.A. hospital on Friday and speculation swirled on the reason. Her rep stated that she was visiting a friend while Dina says that her recent trip to Cannes Film Festival has screwed up her asthma with the different climate changes and she was just having that checked out.

The mother of four wants to set the record straight on her lifestyle and insists she does not live a crazy party life.

I’m just trying to help my kids. I don’t want to hang out with 21-year old kids. I don’t even want to go out with the PTA crowd once a week – even though they do ask me.”

So this is what I got from the interview in a nut shell: Lindsay is dating Sam, Dina will continue to talk smack about Michael until he stops blabbing about her and their children, and last but certainly not least, she does not party with 21-year olds.
