Tina Turner Comeback Tour After 8 Years (Video)
The “Queen” of singing Tina Turner is coming back to kick up her heels on the stage for a new tour after an 8 year break. The tour will launch on October 1st at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
Tina revealed the news to her good friend Oprah Winfrey during a recent taped interview in Las Vegas. The Oprah segment will air on May 8th and will officially announce her comeback. Three dozen show venues are already booked in North America and more will likely be booked in Europe and other international sites.
Turner’s retirement tour in 2000 netted a cool $110 million. Never say never seems to be her new mantra because the Queen is coming back for more. Ticket sales start on May 12th.
