She brought life to the character and personified MEs as caring. I liked the way she talked tot he victims once they were on her table and how she treated them with respect. While a male ME may possibly be the replacement, I think they would be better off having another female ME. Afterall you have the male ME on CSI and CSI New York and I am getting a little worn from watching them. I nominate Jennifer Hudson or Tamala Jones. She was a major player. Every time someone in a role, like she had, leaves, the culture - the makeup of the show is altered and not often in a positive way. I will miss Khandi Alexander; it was because of her I started watching CSI Miami in the first place. She not only plays a part, she (like the old time actors) becomes the part. As if it was developed especially with her in mind. She blew me a way in the role she played as an addict in the Corner. Sorry things could not be worked out between her and the powers-that-be!
