CNN’s Nancy Grace & Twins: First Photos in Good Housekeeping

Nancy Grace, John David and Lucy Elizabeth

CNN news anchor Nancy Grace, 48, shows off her twin babies John David and Lucy Elizabeth on the cover of the June 2008 issue of Good Housekeeping. The babies were born on November 4, 2007 and they are making their debut at the age of 6 months old.

As part of the interview that accompanied some wonderful photos of Nancy and her babes, the legal eagle and television celebrity was asked how she can continue to keep her edge as a tough professional and at the same time be a nurturing and loving mother to young children. She responded:

Here’s the thing, to suggest that you can’t be both a mother who is completely in love with her babies, and a professional who is tough and tenacious, is ridiculous. If anything, now I feel even more passionate about fighting for victims. Now it gets to me so much whenever we cover a story about a child who has been harmed or a baby who has been abandoned that the camera has to cut away from me because I need a moment to pull myself together. It makes me angrier than ever.”

Grace appears on CNN’s Headline News nightly at 8:00 p.m. EST.

  1. The babies are absolutely beautiful and Nancy Grace is a glowing mom. Her face lights up when she talks about them, it’s cute. Like her or not, Nancy Grace is outspoken but I believe she speaks from her heart and says what lots of others sugarcoat. I don’t always agree with her but I like her show.
