Dog the Bounty Hunter Back on the Air

Dog the Bounty Hunter gets another chance with A&E and will be returning for a fifth season this summer. The show canceled last November due to Duane “Dog” Chapman’s racial slurs that were caught on tape. The comments were aimed at his son’s girlfriend.

Yesterday, surrounded by his family and civil rights organization representatives, A&E announced the return of the show. Michael Feeney, a spokesman for the cable network had this to say:

It’s not about ratings…We know his heart. We know him and know he’s not a racist.”

Because the show was canceled before all of the 4th season was aired, they will show previously taped episodes before the fifth season begins.

Tell us what you think – did “The Dog” deserve another shot? If you have not listened to the tape of Duane’s rant, check it out here.

  1. give the guy a break. it was a personal phone call. everybody says things privately that would give everyone else a reason to pick them apart.. just because it’s DOG.. everyone wants to be freaked out.

  2. Dudes a self righteous. I have a friend who worked with him as a hunter and he is everything that most bounty hunters detest. He has no respect amongst his peers.

  3. Dude sucks what a efing joke go to a real city and try that shit he would get his ass beat acting like he’s hard. And Beth is even a bigger white trash hill-billy
