I recently had the opportunity to meet Daniel, and he is everything written about him, and more. He is an inspiration, and he is probably one of the most interesting men I have ever known! Top that off with his quirky sense of humor….some lady will be lucky to snag him one day!!! A great man, and I wish him the best. I am thankful to have men like him who sacrificed sooo much for people like me.

Daniel is one of those most amazing and inspiring people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am so lucky to have him be a part of my life. He is one of those people that every second you spend with him inspires you to live your life just a little bit better and changes your life forever.

Haha and just for the record he runs almost everyday now

I have been a personal friend of Daniel and his parents for years. I have also been a med school teacher of Daniel. He is exactly as he presents himself. Driven,aware,intense,wry witted,bright,patriotic,and deeply loyal to friends,family,and causes are the characteristics of Daniel that define him.I was not aware that he could “not run for shit.”Daniel has inspired me directly and I hope permanently. He has helped make me a better doctor.Since daniel’s crash I have vowed to never complain about anything again.

A stupid pin? To those that serve and are injured in combat it is not a stupid pin. I am proud that he is living his life to the fullest and this is an inspiration to all injured vets. However, do not say that it is a “stupid pin”
