Some women enjoy watching HG TV. Me, I enjoy watching a good knock down drag out fight. If you watched the EliteXC fight on Saturday night on CBS, you might have been one of many who are saying that Kimbo Slice tapped out first in his fight against James Thompson.

At the post-fight press conference Brett Roger, who won his fight against Jon Murphy in a quick 61 seconds, didn’t hold back on sharing his views regarding the Kimbo fight.

I seen some [expletive] today, I seen some [expletive], some garbage-ass [expletive]. I’m a heavyweight, and I feel I’m a true heavyweight. (James) Thompson? Much respect. But I’m saying it like this. Kimbo Slice, man, that was just garbage man.”

Showing up 20 minutes into the heated press conference, Kimbo shook the hands of all the fighters on the panel. Although Rogers did not want to, he reluctantly shook Kimbo’s hand but made no eye contact.

Kimbo didn’t seem like he wanted to get involved in the debate on whether or not he tapped out before Thompson. When asked later about the statement that Rogers made, he simply said “Everybody’s entitled to their opinion.”

The reporter didn’t let it end there but went straight for Rogers, who says that he watched Kimbo tap first. When asked if he wanted to take on the known “street brawler” Kimbo in his next match, Rogers responded:

Looking at the fight tonight, man, yeah. A man is man. And what I say in this man today, it was just garbage. I’m going to speak it real. It was garbage. You did tap. You did tap out (and) I was right there.”

And in true fighting words, Kimbo came back with, “That sounds like a challenge, big dog.” Rogers yelled back, “It is a challenge.”
