Gwyneth Paltrow graces the cover of the July 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar which hits news stands on June 17. The actress is the mother of 4 year old Apple and 2 year old Moses. She is married to rocker Chris Martin, who is a guitarist and front man for Coldplay.

The actress sat down for an interview and spoke about why she works at staying fit:

All the negative things have actually ended up being really positive because they’ve kick-started me into thinking how I want to look for the rest of my life. And you know, I don’t want to look like a mother who doesn’t care. For myself, for my work and for my relationship, I want to look good.”

She had this to say about her workout partner Madonna:

She’s so physically beautiful and fit, it’s just crazy. I think part of the reason she looks so good is that she’s always striving for more knowledge. She’s a very interested woman.”

Paltrow will appear on a TV series airing this fall, a culinary road trip through Spain with chef Mario Batali. She will also collaborate with Estée Lauder on the new scent Sensuous. Gwyneth will team up with Lauder icons Elizabeth Hurley, Carolyn Murphy, and Hilary Rhoda. The group will appear tousled and sexy in unbuttoned white shirts and little else. Sounds interesting.
