Patrick Dempsey vs Gerard Butler (Photos)
Who would you rather see as the face of Versace – Patrick Dempsey or Gerard Butler? Well, that is the big question looming. Dempsey is currently Versace’s face of the menswear line, but there is talk that Donatella Versace is looking at changing this up a bit.
A source talked to OK! and said:
“Ironically, Gerard is most famous for a role in which he practically wore no clothes, but he’ll be a much better fit for the sexy brand.”
Gerard was personally invited by Donatella to Milan for the runway show on June 21st. She is said the be the only woman trying to keep his clothes on, not take them off.
Personally, we have no preference as they are great looking men and both would do the men’s line plenty of justice. Time will tell if Gerard will take over. At this point a Versace rep is denying the rumor.

If this is what Gerry would want for his career, I’m all for it. I trust his judgment. But for God’s sake . . . you could have put up a better picture than that?! I think you’re trying to sway reader’s opinions. I guess your saving grace is that you did post some more flattering pics of Gerry, but still . . . this reader can tell who this site is pulling for, even with the other chosen pictures. Good “journalism” there . . .

I’d rather see Butler be an Armani guy than Versace…that or see him almost nekkid for Calvin Klein like Beckham just did.
Gerard Butler is much more suitable for the lean Versace brand. Mr. Dempsey, while sexy, does not have as much masculine charisma, comparatively.
I say yes to Gerard Butler as the new “face” of Versace!

I don’t particularly obsess over fashion, but if I were looking, I’d rather look at Gerard than Dempsey.
