Behind the Scenes of NKOTB Summertime Video
Okay, so I know I’ve cracked on New Kids on the Block in the past, but who am I to judge? A self-proclaimed cougar who hasn’t dated anyone close to my age in years, ripping on middle-aged men doing boy band moves? Hey, I’m gonna give ‘em some props. And truth be told, I really like this fun little summer tune with an 80’s vibe.
“Summertime” is a fun song, the video is hot, and the “boys” of NKOTB make way more money than I do. So take a look behind-the-scenes of the shoot to see what went down when Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre and Danny Wood reunited after 15 years. I’ve also included the full “Summertime” video.
The album release date is September 2nd, which seems an awfully long time considering the single was released in May, but hey, what do I know.

I’d rather see the return of Jeffery Dahmer than to have to be tortured by their lipsyncing, poor attempts at imitating talent. Maybe if they make their quick buck, they’ll go away again before they start inspiring other fakes like Milli Vanilli from milking “comeback” dollars.
