Christie Brinkley was ready for a good time after finally settling the messy divorce with her ex-husband Peter Cook. Guests at New York Shea Stadium were in for a treat on Friday night when Brinkley showed up to watch another one of the ex-husbands, Billy Joel.

Brinkley has been spending a fair amount of time with Joel and her family recently. On the 4th of July, Brinkley celebrated the holiday at Billy’s home in Sag Harbor, New York and this past weekend attended The Last Play at Shea, From the Beatles to Billy. This is the last concert and New York Mets last season at the stadium. The ball team is moving to their new home at Citi Field in 2009.

Christie and her daughter Alexa Rae Joel, 20, watched the concert together. Her oldest daughter’s father is Billy Joel. Onlookers said that she was having a great time even posing for photos with fans after the show.

Way to go Christie. Show the world that no man can bring you down.
