Rare Twins Born – One Black and One White (Video)

rare-twins-one-black-one-white.jpg

Twin brothers Leo and Ryan are one in a million as far as statistics go. The babies were born one black and one white and are very healthy little boys.

The boys mother Florence is West African while their dad Stephan is German. Born last week at Sana Hospital in Lichtenberg, Germany, the two caused quite a stir.

Ryan, who is light skinned, is being described as “spirited” and Leo is evidently laid back. Does that mean one is fussier than the other?

Watch the video of the boys below.

  1. That’s pretty amazing, but there was another birth a few years ago in England that was even more amazing. Two mixed raced parents whose twins turned out one black and one white!!

  2. two different daddies lol

  3. This is not rare you need to get all facts before you publish a story, back in the 80’s the same story, also the lady on big brother (Libra ) has the same. These babies are cute but it looks like one is just darker than the other both represent their african heritage.

  4. is it jus me or is he lookin @ him lik y is this white dude in my crib?lol cute tho

  5. It appears they are fraternal twins. Big deal. So one’s lighter than the other. There was a case about 20 years ago of a woman who had sex with a white man and then a black man. Her pregnancy actually resulted in her twins being “one white, one black”. Another case in the Netherlands about 10 years ago was the result of a black mans sperm accidentally being mixed in the sperm of a white man’s. The couple were trying to get pregnant and were using invitro fertilization. The clinic wasn’t very careful and yes, it resulted in twins being born. One white and the other black. This story is dumb.

  6. I laughed reading vicki’s comment because I thought the same thing when I looked a the photo.

  7. But.. they still both look black to me.

It looks more like one is brown-skin and the other is ebony. That is a totally normal variation within the black race.

  8. If the lighter baby looks BLACK to you something in wrong with your eyes. He looks hispanic and a bit asian to me, but definitely not black. Is everybody who has slightly darker skin black to you? No black person is naturally that light. So no, it is NOT a ‘normal variation within the black race’. Not all whites are super pale and there are more races with slightly darker skin than just blacks

  9. BTW did you even WATCH the video? Baby one looks definitely white and not black at all in the video, he appears darker due to the lighting on the picture
