Judge Judy Earthquake Video
Judge Judy was in the middle of taping her hit courtroom series when a 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit near Los Angeles.
The courtroom shook and some audience members ran out of the studio, but after a 45 minute break, Judge Judy was back in action. No one on the set was injured and a spokesman for the show said “All is well.”

UPDATE: This did not occur during the earthquake, it was much earlier & turned out to be rosie odonnel going to a studio upstairs to apply for a job playing Dumbo in a new movie.
Wow, Look how Judge Judy ran out of that courtroom. She didnt tell anyone to be calm or care about anyone but herself. She says how people should treat people with respect and be considerate. And she has the audactiy to drive around Naples, FL in her Bentley with her cold and stiff husband who would have split had Judy not started earning over 30 Million a year. Shame on people for watching her. A Tsunami should hit Naples and slam her Condo. This tape should be aired all around the Country so people see what she really is about.
I dont begrudge anyone who makes it big. But give me a break. 30 Million a year. She is a loud and obnoxious woman. I have seen her in Naples, Florida as well waving to people very insincerely. She made about a 100 grand a year working under Ed Koch as a Judge in NYC/ I could see her getting 1 to 3 million a year, but really there are starving people around the world and Judy Shendlin is walking the beach in Naples and getting face lifts because she can yell and waiver her finger. Jerry her husband is a stiff and they dont even tip at the Restaraunts in Naples. Turn her off.

She clearly was looking out for herself and that tape should be aired all around the country to show how selfish she really is. I see her in Naples Florida driving around with her husband Jerry as if she is some wonderful person. I wonder what she would do if her grandchildren were visiting in Naples and a Tsunami was coming towards Vanderbilt beach. I have a feeling she would head to her mile high condo and hope her kids were running behind her. Her former NYS job paid less than a 100k. She should not be getting more than a couple of million a year to humiliate people. I also saw her at The Ritz Carlton and I am glad my wife and I ignored her as she left a 3.00 dollar tip for her 60 dollar lunch. The people at the mercedes dealer cant stand her so now the poor Bentley dealer where my wife and I go have to put up with her. We leave the waiting room when we see her.

Judge Judy bails leaving her guests to fend for themselves. That says a lot about her and how she views her guests.

Everybody else was already running out the door, it’s easy to say what to do when an earthquake hits but when it’s happening your mind goes blank. I was in between the epicenter and where Judy was and it shook hard.

She has probably never experienced something like that before in her life considering she grew up in New York so of course she is going to feel scared or what not. If you were in that situation you wouldnt know what you would be thinking or doing until it occured. Judge Judy rules and you’re just jealous!
I’m a California native. Born and raised. Earthquakes are part of living here. You can always tell the people that transplanted here from elsewhere when an earthquake hits. The first thing they do is panic. If you didn’t spend the early part of childhood and young adulthood in a place known for earthquakes, you will never get used to them. Maybe it’s time for Judge Judy to go back to New York. Take your attitude with you too, Judge.
Its not that any of us would turn down that money, its the fact that people are so over paid. I think Doctors, Teachers, Pilots deserve big money. Why not pay surgeons or a pilot a million a year instead of someone who just yells at people. Janie Suton, I dont make 30 million a year, but I do make about 10 million and still would have offered to help. She immediately runs out. It was very obvious.
I think JJ rules. As far as getting under her desk or running, so would me, you or anyone else. People are so jealous of each other. All the slackers, woulda, coulda’s just HATE any kind of success that comes to someone who goes to school for many years, studies and finally at the golden years obtains great success.
My guess is the haters here are either dropouts, slackers, perhaps bitter from failed marriages, whatever. USE that energy for your own good and leave people alone. Keep at it, and watch it work for you.

Think about it from her point of view- she knows there’s an earthquake and she KNOWS that the audience is going to try to leave the building, so why would she stay?! They KNOW there’s an earthquake, they’re not going to sit there and listen to her!

Its amazing how many post under different names the same comments. Sure she is blunted to the point and bitchy, but with as many stupid people out there (especially the younger ones who use what little brain they have to text message and stick the rest up their asses), she is to the point and says what we are all thinking. $30 million?A bit excessive, but her show is enjoyable and she is very knowledgable.
