Shelley Malil Arrested for Stabbing His Girlfriend

Shelley Malil, known for his bit in the Budweiser “What are you doing? Wassup” beer commercials was arrested yesterday at an Amtrak train station in San Diego for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend according to Lt. Phil Brust of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. The couple had been in a dating relationship and had recently parted ways.

Malil showed up at to his ex girlfriend’s home in San Marcos where an altercation between the couple took place. Kendra Beebe, 35, was stabbed an estimated 20 times. Sadly her children were at home at the time of the attack.

Neighbors heard the woman screaming and called police and an ambulance. The woman was reportedly taken to Palomar Hospital where she was listed in critical condition with multiple stab wounds and cuts to her face.

Malil’s family members worked with police investigators to capture the fleeing actor, who boarded a train and reportedly headed to meet with his lawyer. He was apprehended and removed from the train at Oceanside depot on Monday evening after agreeing to surrender. He is being held in the San Mateo Sheriff’s Department jail on a reported $2 million bond.

Shelley was most recently seen on the big screen on the movie 40 Year Old Virgin.

    He is being held at the Vista Detention Facility in the City of Vista in San Diego County and never in the San Mateo Sheriff’s Department jail.

    other places have stated that he saw his gf with another male, well, heres a hint, if shes seeing someone else, you are screwing up somewhere, move on, less stabby, you can likely afford to buy two or three replacements, hollywood makes me sick

  4. With the UK confirming two cases of swine flu and the World Health Organization raising its alert level from three to four, the threat does sound quite serious.
