Bigfoot Found in Georgia (Photos)
A group called Searching for Bigfoot, Inc. says that they have found Bigfoot in the northern woods of Georgia. A press conference will be held this Friday in Palo Alto, California.
DNA evidence and photos of the creature are going to be released at the press conference. The group is saying that it is a male and over 7 feet tall with reddish hair, blackish green eyes and weighing in at over 500 pounds. The dead animal reportedly has flat feet that are similar to human feet.
Matthew Whitton and Rick Byer, a pair of Bigfoot hunters from northern Georgia say not only have they discovered the furry carcass of a dead animal but have also seen several similar creatures that are still alive.
The chairman of the biology department at North Georgia College and State University, Tom Nelson, said that if the discovery proves to be true it would certainly rock mammalogy and open up research grants to do further investigation. He calls himself “pretty skeptical” but admits that “we always acknowledge the possibility of something new.”

Cool! Where at in the northern woods of Georgia? That could totally be one of my relatives!
Dude the hair looks fake and the face does too. Most animals have very clean looking hair that they keep groomed somehow or another. Most gorilla suits have shag carpet looking polyester hair that sticks in every direction and when the sunlight hits it there aren’t any of the nice glittery highlights that really all animals with hair have. The eyes look more like eye holes. It would be great if there was still some bigfoots around, but, even saying that they WERE real, chances are they are all dead now.

Has anyone seen a frozen dead carcass stuffed into a freezer 7 ft plus and 500 lbs. to do DNA testing it takes 2 weeks so it has been in it for a while… The cool thing about this is that it very well could be the missing link that scientist have long looked for…
Man, Bigfoot has some great teeth. He must floss daily. I suspect one of the Bigfoot researcher’s grandma is looking all over for her false teeth right about now.

Web site claims Bigfoot carcass found in Georgia
Talk about Internet buzz! The Web site SearchingForBigfoot.com claims it has found the carcass of a Bigfoot in the woods of northern Georgia and it’s even showing a picture of what they purport is the body of the “creature” stuffed into a white container and frozen on ice.
As blogs and news stories have been reporting the posting, the site has received so much traffic that it has crashed, unable to keep up with the bandwidth demands.
The Bigfoot searchers have promised an official announcement with “DNA evidence and photo evidence” at a 3 p.m. news conference in California today.
They claim other, living Bigfoot-like creatures were seen in the vicinity of where the supposed carcass was located and that an expedition is being mounted to capture one of them alive.
The site does not explain how the reputed dead Bigfoot ended up that way or give exact location details.
The searchers — Mathew Whitton, Tom Biscardi and Rick Dyer — claim the body is 7 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs more than 500 pounds and “looks like it is part human and part ape-like.”
It is said to have reddish hair and blackish-gray eyes and a footprint that measures 26-and-three-quarter inches long and five and three-quarter inches across.
Don’t hold your breath that this is for real. Biscardi has been linked to Bigfoot hoaxes before. In 1995, according to the LiveScience.com Web site, he claimed his group had captured a 400-pound Bigfoot and that he would submit proof a few days later.
Such proof never came.
Then, a decade later, says LiveScience: “Biscardi promoted a pay-per-view cable TV show in which he offered viewers the chance to see a Bigfoot captured on live television for only $59.95. That never happened.”
Most recently, Biscardi is behind a documentary he’s trying to sell called “Bigfoot Lives.”
Pardon my skepticism, but it seems the news conference and huge buzz surrounding this supposed claim — given Biscardi’s track record as a hypester — seem to point to a huge publicity stunt aimed at boosting sales of his movie.
If this is the real deal, the real creature carcass would have to be shown, not just photos. It would also have to be open for examination by real scientists not associated with these amateur Bigfoot hunting groups.
I’m betting that is not going to happen.

Why is this biscardi guy already planning to catch one alive he should give these guys a chance to bask in their glory. They let him in on it and he immediately announces that he has plans to one up them and catch one alive. As smart and stealthy as they say these things are maybe they will catch him and put him in a cage.

Looks like a costume with the guts of another animal laid on it. I’ve never seen hair that messed up and ungroomed on an animal before. I’ve drug dead deer through the woods behind a four wheeler and the hair was still not as mangy as that. But that would be cool if it really was one.

ATLANTA — Turns out Bigfoot was just a rubber suit. Two researchers on a quest to prove the existence of Bigfoot say that the carcass encased in a block of ice _ handed over to them for an undisclosed sum by two men who claimed to have found it _ was slowly thawed out, and discovered to be a rubber gorilla outfit.
The revelation comes just days after a much ballyhooed news conference was held in California to proclaim that the remains of the creature found in the North Georgia mountains was the legendary man-ape.
Steve Kulls, executive director of squatchdetective.com and host of Squatchdetective Radio, says in a posting on a Web site run by Bigfoot researcher Tom Biscardi that as the “evidence” was thawed, the claim began to unravel as a giant hoax.
First, the hair sample was burned and “melted into a ball uncharacteristic of hair,” Kulls said in the posting.
The thawing process was sped up and the exposed head was found to be “unusually hollow in one small section.” An hour of thawing later and the feet were exposed _ and they were found to be made of rubber.
Matt Whitton, an officer who has been on medical leave from the Clayton County Police Department, and Rick Dyer, a former Georgia corrections officer, announced the find in early July on YouTube videos and a Web site.
“Everyone who has talked down to us is going to eat their words,” Whitton said at the time.
Phone calls to Whitton and Dyer went unreturned on Tuesday. But the voicemail recording for their Bigfoot Tip Line _ which proclaims they search for leprechauns and the Loch Ness monster _ has been updated and announcing they’re also in search of “big cats and dinosaurs. If you see any of those, give us a call.”
On Tuesday, Clayton County Police Chief Jeff Turner said he has not spoken to Whitton but processed paperwork to fire him.
“Once he perpetrated a fraud, that goes into his credibility and integrity,” Turner said. “He has violated the duty of a police officer.”

wondered why one has not been found yet. i have lived in fl. all my life would love to believe these pics are real. I have always livied in ruled areas and i have never seen one, I airboat up and down rivers all the time and have always been on the lookout. With as many good ole boys and hunters out there thats the main reason I didn’t believe bigfoot exist, if it was there,the hunters of our great nation would be the ones too find it .
Well, if this is real then why don’t they have any footage of the real ones. The DNA tasts shows human and possum DNA. Maybe Bigfoot does exist but he’s smarter than we are. he knows that we are looking. Why don’t these same hunters take someone into the Georgia mountains and track them down a true hunter could do that. If they are serious about proving their point and saving the family name from being liars they will come up with more proof soon. Even if part of it is disclosing the location of the family htat is still there. I believe in things that are not seen, God is the first of example of believing things in life withut seeing them. The bible does say there is more to heaven and Earth than we will ever know. But the evasion of this animal, shows low numbers and extremely high intellegence. If it is truely a creature. Maybe it’s a family that live in the woods and wild because of their deformed features. Without true proof there are no answers.

I saw the tv broadcast on this carcass. they played it up pretty convincing but when the professionals got there they took one look at it and realized it was a pig carcass stuffed inside a gorilla suit. kinda disappointing and really gross.
