Madonna makes 50 look gooood! We have photos from opening night of her Sticky & Sweet Tour which opened at the Cardiff Millennium Stadium in Wales.

The opening song was Candy Shop, with Madonna appearing sitting on a throne. Among the 40,000 fans who showed up to see the ‘Material Girl‘ were her husband Guy Ritchie and children, Lourdes Leon, Rocco Ritchie and David Banda.

Three singers were featured on the big screens at her concert, Pharrell Williams, Kayne West and Britney Spears.

Madge showed high energy throughout, which she demonstrated with some pole dancing, a skipping contest and even a little Flamenco. The diverse show got mixed reviews. The Cardiff crowd was not as into Madonna as she was into them. The older crowd found it hard to transition into the new music according to some who were interviewed following the performance. Others called it brilliant.
