We are not sure why this would come as a surprise to anyone but Jessica Simpson has received some very harsh reviews from her recent concert performance in Ontario, Canada.

John Law of the Niagra Falls Review didn’t have much good to say about the new found “country girl” who is staying true to her roots. Now, if staying true to her roots means dressing up daily like it is Halloween and she is going as Elly May Clampett, then she is dead on. Here are just a few things that Law had to say about his painful experience at the concert:

“It might be unfair calling Jessica Simpson’s show at the Avalon Ballroom Wednesday a train wreck –at some point a train knows where it’s going.

Law said that the concert seemed more like a therapy session for Jessica and that her need to explain each song to the nth degree was exhausting.

At one point in her show, Jess talked about how often she farts and said that “it’s a lot” but that it does smell like roses. Aww, she’s so cute and funny but we all know that farm girls don’t smell like roses.
