Sarah Palin Attacked on US Magazine Cover (Photos)
Sarah Palin, the center of a firestorm of disapproval, has become the fodder of every publication in the country, including US magazine. She will speak tonight at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she will tell her story and hope to sway public opinion.
After the speech, her family will appear on stage in a show of support. Along with her husband and their children will be Bristol Palin’s 17 year old boyfriend Levi Johnston. He and Bristol are expectant parents. Governor Palin announced over the weekend that her teenage daughter is 5 months pregnant.
The pair will be seniors at Wasilla High School this fall, though reports yesterday indicate that Johnston is not listed on the 2008-2009 hockey roster. He has been the schools star player with 24 goals in his last 24 games.
Levi Johnston left Alaska early Tuesday morning to join the Palin family in Minnesota, according to his mother. He made shock waves of his own this week when Johnston’s MySpace page was discovered to contain a glimpse of his thoughts – including his declaration that he has a girlfriend but “I don’t want kids”.

You know, I don’t care how many babies ’she chooses’ to squeeze out, or how wide a Cheshire Cat smiles she makes, she repels me. I don’t want her a heartbeat away from the most important political position in the world wanting to deprive women and young girls of their reproductive choices and freedom, choices she sees fit to make for herself, her daughter, and a young man. She is the most anti-woman sow.
The Republicans consistently offend women over this primal issue that makes the difference between whether we are full citizens and human beings or not. Imagine if there was a party that insisted on men losing their, erm… hydrolics system if they got a woman pregnant, did not pay child support, etc. and then thumped a holy book and expected to vote violently against themselves, and for a man who promotes this. That is how irrational asking women to vote for a ticket with this woman is.
An Alaskan woman recently wrote an interesting comment on this blog with insights from Palin’s and her home state. Palin sounds like the moose hunting-hairspray wielding equivalent of Kim Jong il, an Aquarian who is a rigid totalitarian ideologue obsessed with having all choice and freedom and power form himself, but to strip this from the people and crush their lives under his boot.
We the people should send this woman back to Alaska where she can abuse power where the moose and polar bear roam. McCain was a fool.
Now this is crazy! I hate the repubs! Raegan,bush 1 and 2 failures! I hate mccaine as well and ms palin but these attacks on her parenting skills and children must stop! I think the only thing up 4 debate is her political record i support obama but im repulsed by the treatment of palin lets stay on track and discuss issues not family dynamics.by the way i find it ironic palin wants 2 police what i do with my body yet she cant keep her daughter from gettin a little action! LMAO
For those of you who believe abortion is fine, then my question to you is simply this. When does life begin?
Sarah Palin is not only pro-life, but is also pro-choice. She chose to have a child. Some choose to kill their unborn babies.
A very high percentage of pregnacies are not planned (married women or single). Do you ever wonder why our mothers chose not to abort us?
Is Us mag a tabloid now? I for one am appalled at the cover and article in the mag. I have canceled m subscription and will be urging everyone else to do so. This cant stand. Us mag is what I read for good information now I see they turn into a tabloid at the drop of a hat. I have lost all respect for them and Ill be sure I make my voice heard here, youtube and anywhere else i can get a word in. This is unacceptable weather or not you like her. This is not what I have come to expect from US. I will never be reading its pages again.
Also, she has lead a state. AN EXECUTIVE position. The only thing obama has ran is a senate office. He has NO executive experience. She has dealt with big government for years on pipelines etc. Obama is the real threat to the white house. He has NO MORE experience than she and he wants to be president. Your a hypocrite
I LOVE Sarah Palin, and I am definitely not giving another single cent to US Magazine. I did not know what a big Obama supporter Jann Wenner was, and I should’ve never bought the magazine in the first place.
I am thrilled and excited about McCain/Palin, and she is a total inspiration to me. She is such a fine example of a hard-working, courageous, unpretentious, committed, intelligent woman.
It’s interesting because alot of Obama supporters are not engaging in intelligent discussion about her… they are just name-calling, insulting, and trying to smear her. My impression of them is that they can’t control their tempers and they are hateful for reasons not totally political (they envy Palin, she makes other woman look “bad,” they hate Christians and the values that Palin represents). US magazie is a prime example.
Well, my vote is McCain/Palin, and I hope US magazine loses lots of readers over this. We need to stop wasting our hard-earned money on this magazine.
Oh and by the way, I am a 30 something WOMAN, and proud to say I am voting McCain/Palin.
Apparentyly US magazine wants to broadcast it’s vote on who should win the White House. I find it insulting that the first cover was Obama and his wife in a loving embrace discussing how happily married they are..and then the cover for Sarah Palin has babies, lies and scandal..What a crock..The cover is misleading and the writer didn’t even do his homework. The lies referred to on the front cover are suppose to relate to the lies told about Sarah by the bloggers…and there have been plenty of them..This magazine has now earned Enquirer status..I will cancel
Cut Palin’s hair, remove her glasses, give her a moustache, and you have little Hitler. She is ruthless and power hungry. All will be revealed in the next month or so….

Don’t they get it?! When they say stuff like that to make a point IT IS A LIE! It’s exactly what makes me furious about Palin’s LIES! She lied about spending millions$ to get her share of Sen. Ted Stevens $$$ (that he might go to jail for)! Palin lied about firing Moneghan because he wouldn’t fire her ex-brother-in-law! In fact in Aug 2008, 88% of Alaskans said she was a LIAR! If it’s a lie when Clinton lied to protect his wife from his infidelity … then WHY oh WHY is there NOT outrage about Palin’s LIES? I campaigned for McCain in 2000 … but he’s the McSame as Bush now. Picking a liar like Palin tells me we’ll get more of the same lies we’ve gotten for the last 8 years and I’VE HAD ENOUGH OF THE LIES! You go US WEEKLY!! Wow, Sarah Palin has a teenager who got pregnant? That’s never happened to a good, loving parent before! She had adversaries on the other side of issues in Alaska? Stop the presses – that never happens in politics or daily life anywhere but in Alaska.
Us Mag implied she mispent money because she had a tanning bed put in her office? Oops – then the truth comes out and turns out she paid for it with her own money? Us would never make such a mistake!
This Sarah Palin is as heartless as the black of a cold winter night. We have to stop her before she goes and does something else crazy, like cook for her family; something an Us exec never does!! Keep the humorous slams coming left wing – you are once again shooting yourselves in the foot and insuring that another Republican takes the Presidency.
Oh, forgot to mention all the problems the Republicans have caused the past two years that have raided our energy costs, crippled our housing markets and led us to another economic downturn / adjustment.
I am going to write to the Republican controlled congress that promised to fix things two years ago and let them know they have not done their job! If I recall, the republican speaker of the house is Nancy Pelosi and the senate majority leader is Harry Reid? Those damn Republicans!!
