Jennifer Hudson Engaged to David Otunga
Dreamgirls Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and boyfriend of less than a year, David Otunga are engaged. Hudson’s rep confirmed the good news to People magazine exclusively.
Otunga, who’s nickname is ‘Punk’, proposed on Friday night, Jennifer’s 27th birthday, with a beautiful Neil Lane diamond ring.
For those of you who are not familiar with Punk, he was on the reality TV show I Love New York 2. Tiffany “New York” Pollard was on a quest to find her true love. Punk was eliminated on the Week 10 episode.
Pollard may not have wanted Punk but Jennifer Hudson does. We expect that the couple will share more details about their engagement in the near future.

I think David Otunga is an upgrade from that ‘loser’ James Peyton. It should not take a Black man 8 years to decide whether or not he wants to marry his girlfriend. Lets see the differences, Otunga, HARVARD LAW, Payton, a maintenance engineer. Otunga, GORGEOUS, Payton, mediocre. Maybe she feels that she can do better since she’s a celebrity now. My advice to Payton, If you would have popped the ??? a while back, you would have reap the benefits! Now you walk away, penniless, and …..by yourself!!!! Jennifer knows a real man when she gets to know one unlike newyork. It does not take one eight years like James to know that SHE IS THE ONE either. David and Jennifer was almost love at first sight. The couple are truely head over heels in love with each other. I personally thank James and newyork should get to gather since they both lost out. James lost the love of his life, because he was scared(eight years). Newyork lost out four times. She is just a crazy unclass hoodrat. The young lady is all mixed up in the head.
