Everyone is just hating, I hope that they stay together. I am from Clovis too and went to high school with Hank he is a genuine person and has very good morals. Hank’s dad was also one of my teachers at the college he is also a stand up guy helping those who are less fortunate. So for all the people who like to talk shit, I dare them to come to Clovis, NEW MEXICO and talk it, cause I don’t think they will be leaving in one piece.

1st of Mr. Roddy up top there, EVERYONE is of some type of multi-race because there is NO such thing as a pure race!! Because of moving from country to country over time all races mixed with people indigineous to the region, therefore, eventually mixing and mixing and mixing, making it impossible to NOW have a pure race in ANY race not just “peopl of color.” That means the white race/European, mexican Spanish, Iraqi, etc!! so at this point ummmm what are you really trying to say????

sorry but ask any sociologist.Given the history of people of color in this country, all people of color, those kids will be looked at not much differently than hank is looked at, same as halle kids her daughter will be looked at similarly to how her mother is perceived. Everyone seems to ignore that Rosa parks, Malcolm x, and many others were multiracial individuals, however been multiracial didn’t stop the oppression, and that legacy has been passed down and passed down. That’s what it is to be Afro-American, most of us are multiracial, many Africans have multiracial ancestry. To be black is definitely surpasses racial mixture. However I also think that all people should be allowed to observe their ancestry.

Isn’t Hank mixed? So what difference does it make if their kids are one race or another, as long as their healthy and loved, and if the couple is happy, and don’t have a problem with the race issue, then no one else should either.
