Comments on: Kids Sing for Change Obama Video

I didn’t have a chance to see the video before it was taken off-line.
I have plenty of experience with near-brainwashed Christian camp kids, and I’m living in the former GDR, so I get that critique.
I also know, however, that my 6-yr-old is ecstatic that Obama might win this thing–far beyond anything I’ve expressed to him. The other night he saw a clip of a campaign rally in Canton Ohio. The phrase he picked up from it, and kept repeating, was ‘we’re going to change the world’. He said repeatedly ‘We are going to change the world, aren’t we mama?’ His oversimplified approach, and probably that of the kids is the video, stems from his AGE and MATURITY level, not from being force-fed propaganda.

The children are great,so much better than hearing the slash and burn politics of McCain /Palin. It is so refreshing. Much better than these mean spiritedChristians on the right.

I WILL HAVE TO AGREE, THIS IS TOO CLOSE TO HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF. THE PRESENT GENERATIONS DO NOT REALLY KNOW OF THE ATROSITIES THAT WERE COMMITED DURNING WORLD WAR 2. THERE ARE NOT MANY PEOPLE LET WHO CAN CARRY FORWARD THE TRUE MESSAGE. I AM SO TIRED OF OUR GOVERNMENT NOT SUPPORTING THE GOSPEL . WE AS A NATION NEED TO RISE UP IN ANGERN AND STOP LETTING OUR GOVERNMENT GIVE TO US AND TAKE BACK OUR FREEDOMS THAT OUR FATHERS OF THIS COUNTRY WROTE LONG AGO…………ENGLAND SAYS GOD SAVE THE KING. I SAY “GOD SAVE THIS NATION”

I also think when it says “Nations as One” that pretty well tells the whole story. I really do not want to live in the North American Republic. Makes me sick.

Re: John, your theory that this was put on by the GOP is funny….It was exposed already that Obama was fully aware of it, as a matter of fact it’s been linked to one of his guy’s on the campaign…though now he denies it…Surprise, Surprise…. It was on his official site for awhile, prior to it catching fire to the majority of thinking people who see’s this for what it is…..After which, the official Obama site took it down.

Not ONE line in the lyrics “prays” to Obama like a new “god” — All of the objections come from a whole lot of well organized fear mongering RACIST thugs, who cannot stand the thought of a Black Man, sitting in the Oval Office…

These kids singing is refreshing!! And from all indications, it looks like some sort of youth group… with parental sponsorship… on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON of all things!!

Some of the Thugs posting against this have attempted to claim that it was done in a public school… more likely a community center of some sort…

“Sarah Palin is way more disturbing”

When I see a bunch of gradeschoolers singing the praises of Sarah Palin and how she’s gonna change the world, with proud parents beaming down on them, and SARAH! posters on the walls, and various articles of Sarah-inspired clothing, I’ll agree.

This gives me the creeps.
