OJ Simpson Verdict: GUILTY Of All 12 Counts

O.J. Simpson’s case went to the jury for deliberation midday on Friday, October 3, 2008.  After 13 hours of deliberation, the jury found Simpson guilty on all 12 counts and he was immediately taken into custody with sentencing scheduled for December 5.  He could end up in prison for 15 years – making him 76 years old when released.  His attorney plans to appeal.

The jury was given 41 instructions to consider during their deliberation.  Simpson has been charged with 12 counts for planning the alleged robbery, luring the two victims to a hotel room and then using force to take sports memorabilia from them.

Ironically, this is exactly 13 years since he received a verdict in the murder trial of his ex wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.  We all know how that one turned out – Simpson walked.

He was then dragged into civil court, where the burden of proof wasn’t as strict, and was found guilty of wrongful death.  He was ordered to pay the estates of his victims $33 million – but his NFL pension was protected by the courts.  He has paid the Goldman family $500,000 – the proceeds of an auction of his coveted Heisman Trophy.

Nicole and Simpson’s children are Sydney Simpson, 23, and Justin Simpson, 20.

  2. Poor OJ. He was not convicted of robbery, this verdict was revenge for thirteen years ago. He never committed those murders but America just would not accept the truth. Free OJ.
