Naamua Delaney was hired by CNN.com Live as a lead anchor in December 2007. Her show is a live multi-stream video service. The attractive television journalist was born in England and currently resides in New York City.

She anchors news reports and breaking news coverage during the afternoon and evening hours and ‘Now in the News’, a fast-paced hourly web and wireless news update.

The 34 year old graduated from University of London Law School and then traveled to Vancouver, British Columbia on the Student Abroad Program and began working for a local newspaper. In 1996 Naamua landed her first broadcasting job with the Manitoba Television Network in Winnipeg. She spent two years as an entertainment reporter and host at Vancouver Television, part of the Canadian Television Network.

In 1999 she joined CTV in Vancouver and then moved to WFTX in Boston . Delaney joined WNYW in New York in 2003 as an entertainment and lifestyle reporter and was the recipient of an Emmy in 2005. Before joing CNN.com, Delaney was the host of a daily talk show with the NBC network’s iVillage Live.

Now living in the New York area, she enjoys community involvement and has participated in many charitable and educational events, including moderating and emceeing for Action for Boston, United Way and Harvard Business School.
